Birthday Party Pictures

The usual suspects, a few close friends and families I’ve known for 10 years or so got together and celebrated my birthday at Alexis’ in Portola Valley on Saturday. It was a spectacular event, and I got a duck. More pictures on the pictures page here.

Couple of great rides out of Guerneville

Spent three days up in Guerneville and got out on two spectacular rides: Sweetwater Creek and old Cazadero Highway. Pictures on facebook here.

The Old Cazadero Highway is officially closed, and hasn’t been ridden in ages in so far as one can tell. It involves fording a stream, bushwacking, and 11% grades (up and down) on gravel, stone, and dirt with downed trees. Just right for the 700cx28’s on my RB-1 steel road bike!
